Students from the Universitat de València visit the Valencian Tax Agency

Students of Economics and Economics-Law of the UV participated in a guided visit to the ATC to learn about its functioning and its work in the fight against tax fraud.

On 25 and 26 March, students of the course Public Sector Economics II of the Degree in Economics and the Degree in Economics-Law of the University of Valencia participated in a visit to the headquarters of the Valencian Tax Agency (ATV). The activity was organised by the  Regional Taxation Chair and the Department of Applied Economics of the university.

During the visit, the students were accompanied by their teachers and received a detailed explanation of how the ATV works from its director, Sonia Díaz Español, and other professionals from the agency. Throughout the tour, the different areas of work of the agency, its main functions and the opportunities for access to jobs in the sector were presented.

Special attention was devoted to the role of the ATC in the prevention of tax fraud, highlighting the measures implemented to facilitate tax compliance and improve tax control. This initiative gave students a first-hand insight into the work of the regional tax administration and its impact on the management of public revenue.
