
On 25 and 26 February 2025, Professor Mauro Mediavilla, researcher at EvalPub, will give an intensive course on public policy evaluation for students of the PhD programme in Social Sciences at the Universitat de València.
The objectives of the course are, firstly, to understand the process of public policy evaluation: its strengths and weaknesses. In addition, the main theoretical and methodological approaches used in the evaluation of public policies will be addressed, including quantitative methods. Finally, students will be trained to identify the different actors involved in the process of public policy formulation and evaluation, as well as the political, economic, social and cultural factors that influence this process.
