On the morning of Thursday 16 April, the EvalPub research group is organising a conference on poverty, social transformation and the labour market.
The conference will begin with a presentation by Amadeo Fuenmayor, director of the Regional Taxation Chair.
This will be followed by a series of presentations, moderated by Rafael Granell, director of the EvalPub research group. Speakers in this session will include Bárbara López (EvalPub, University of Valencia), Gonzalo Romero (Iseak, Basque Country) and Hugo Cruces (Joint Research Centre, Seville), who will address different perspectives on the design and effects of policies relating to poverty and the labour market.
Finally, the conference will conclude with the closing address, to be delivered by Inmaculada Domínguez Calomarde, Director-General of Taxation and Gaming (Valencian Regional Government).
The event will take place in the Pilar Tamborero Room (2P04), located on the second floor of the Faculty of Economics, on the Tarongers Campus.
