On Thursday 23 May 2024, the conference ‘Evaluation of Public Policies on Health: Tobacco’ will be held with the aim of presenting research related to the evaluation of public policies on health.

The presentation day will start on Thursday 23 May at 10:00 a.m. in room 2P15 of the Faculty of Economics (first floor). The day will begin with an opening ceremony. This will be followed by the two scheduled lectures. The first will be given by Georgina Solaz (EvalPub, University of Valencia), entitled ‘Evaluation of public policies on health: a synthetic control approach to anti-smoking legislation with a gender perspective’. Secondly, Juan Manuel Marín and Antonio Golpe (International University of La Rioja, UNIR) will give a presentation entitled: ‘Convergence between the taxation of RYO and cigarettes and its effects on tax collection’.

This meeting is part of the series of activities organised by the EvalPub research group and the Department of Applied Economics of the Faculty of Economics (University of Valencia).
