Conference on Inheritance and Gifts: Taxation and Economic Implications

On the morning of Monday 18 May, the EvalPub research group is organising a Conference on inheritance and gifts: taxation and economic effects.

The conference will begin with an opening address by Amadeo Fuenmayor, Director of the Regional Taxation Chair.

This will be followed by a series of presentations, moderated by Rafael Granell, Director of the EvalPub research group. This session will feature presentations by Rubén Amo (EvalPub, University of Valencia), Isabel Martínez (KOF Swiss Economic Institute, ETH Zurich) and Isabel Micó (Bank of Spain), who will address different perspectives on the effects of wealth transfers and the design of the taxes levied on them.

Finally, the conference will conclude with the closing address, to be delivered by Inmaculada Domínguez Calomarde, Director-General of Taxation and Gaming (Valencian Regional Government).

The event will take place in the Pilar Tamborero Room (2P04), located on the second floor of the Faculty of Economics, on the Tarongers Campus.
