Session
Faculty of Economics (UV)
Room Ignasi Villalonga Villalba (1a Floor)

The conference will deal with the new environmental taxes established in the Valencia Region, with the aim of analysing them and presenting the economic effects of these taxes.

The three new environmental taxes established in the Valencia Region are:

  • Tax on large commercial establishments
  • Tax on the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere from installations
  • Tax on carbon dioxide emissions from motor vehicles.

The conference will take place on 11 May from 10:20h in the Ignasi Villalonga Villalba room, located on the first floor of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia.

Members of EvalPub will analyse each of the taxes, highlighting their main characteristics. The results obtained after simulating the taxes will also be presented, showing the collection effects that the taxes will have after their establishment.

This conference is part of the series of activities organised by the Chair of Regional Taxation and its research group EvalPub, the University of Valencia, the Department of Applied Economics of the Faculty of Economics (UV) and the Department of Finance and Economic Model (GVA).
