Amadeo Fuenmayor and Teresa Savall, both EvalPub researchers, attended the meeting with the heads of the Social Labs Network held at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche on 31 January.
The five Valencian public universities and the provincial councils of Castellón and Valencia, together with the city councils of Alicante, Vinarós, Benicarló, Alzira and the Mancomunidad de La Ribera, under the coordination of the Institut Valenciá de Formació, Investigació i Qualitat (IVAFIQ) took part in this meeting of the Network of Social Laboratories to take stock of the results of the research carried out during 2022.
At the meeting, Aitana Mas, Vice-President of the Generalitat Valenciana and Regional Minister for Equality and Inclusive Policies, announced the creation in 2023 of the Inter-University Chair of the Valencian Public System of Social Services. This project will consist of the creation of five chairs (one in each public university) which, in a coordinated manner, will promote research and training in the field of social services.
The aim of this initiative is to continue to promote the great research work carried out by the Social Services Laboratories in the Valencian Community in recent years. As the vice-president communicated, this year, 2023, the Inter-University Chair will have a budget of 200,000 euros.
