Mauro Mediavilla has been selected as a member of the jury for the 2026 edition of the Sapiència Awards, an initiative aimed at fostering scientific vocations and critical thinking among young students in the Valencian Community.
The Sapiència Awards are a joint initiative of the Network of Valencian Universities for the Promotion of R&D&I (RUVID) and the Regional Ministry of Education, Culture, and Universities of the Valencian Regional Government, whose goal is to recognize and promote scientific research projects carried out by pre-university students.
In the 2026 edition, Mauro Mediavilla will serve as a member of the jury responsible for evaluating the submitted projects, thereby contributing to an initiative aimed at inspiring scientific careers, fostering critical thinking, and bringing research closer to young people.
The awards are open to students in the 4th year of ESO, the Baccalaureate, and Intermediate Vocational Training programs at schools in the Valencian Community, and they also recognize the work of the teachers who mentor the research projects.
