The Ministry of Economy, Finance and Public Administration of the Valencian Government has awarded Paula Ballester, a predoctoral researcher at EvalPub, a grant within the program of subsidies to support research groups in public economics at research centers in the Valencian Community, intended for the completion of her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia.

The aim of this grant is to promote research training by hiring predoctoral researchers and supporting the development of a doctoral thesis over a four-year period, thus contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and strengthening the Valencian R&D&I system. The grant was awarded thanks to the project submitted by the research team comprised of Mauro Mediavilla, Rafael Granell, María Jesús Mancebón, and José Manuel Cordero.

Thanks to this funding, the doctoral thesis will be carried out at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia, under the supervision of Mauro Mediavilla. The research, entitled “Creative thinking and learning: Analysis from the perspectives of gender, social inclusion and use of new technologies for the improvement in the design of educational public policies”, focuses on the study of creative thinking as a key factor in educational development and its relevance to the design of public policies aimed at improving educational outcomes and promoting equity.
