Abstract
This monograph addresses the transformation processes that have taken place in recent years in minimum income programs in Spain, focusing specifically on the reaction of regional minimum income models to the implementation of the national Minimum Living Income (IMV). To this end, the first part analyzes the main areas of transformation and debate surrounding these programs in both Europe and Spain. Subsequently, it examines how five regional models (La Rioja, Castile and León, Navarre, the Basque Country, and the Valencian Community) have responded to the implementation of the Minimum Living Income (IMV). Through these case studies, the results reveal new strategies for managing and harmonizing these benefits, as well as other challenges in the design, management, and coordination of policies to combat poverty and exclusion in Spain.
