The grant, awarded by the Valencian Innovation Agency, is intended to fund an industrial PhD at the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (Ivie) and the University of Valencia.

The Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) has awarded Rubén Baeza, researcher and doctoral student at EvalPub, a grant under the call for proposals entitled ‘Promotion of talent: Innovation agents, incorporation of researchers and technologists for innovation projects in companies and business doctoral students’.

The aim of this grant is to co-finance, together with the company—in this case, the Ivie—the completion of an industrial PhD. Thanks to this funding, the doctoral thesis will be developed at the Ivie and the University of Valencia, under the supervision of Mauro Mediavilla, and will address the study of immigration and digitalisation in the context of the Spanish labour market.
