Rubén Baeza, a member of EvalPub, has been awarded the 13th Prize for the Best Master’s Thesis by the Faculty of Economics

Rubén Baeza, a student on the Master’s in Economics at the University of Valencia and a member of EvalPub, has been awarded one of the prizes in the 13th Faculty of Economics Award for the Best Master’s Thesis.

The award-winning thesis is entitled “Do Immigrants Benefit Equally from Higher Education? Evidence from Spain’s Labour Market” and was supervised by Professor Mauro Mediavilla. The jury highlighted the methodological rigour of the Master’s thesis, the quality of the results obtained, as well as the clarity and competence demonstrated during its presentation and public defence.

The award ceremony will take place on 12 June 2026 at 6.00 pm in the Hall of the Faculty of Economics, as part of the institutional ceremony for the presentation of Special Awards, Best Academic Records and Best Master’s Thesis.
