EUROMOD Regional Workshop held at the Faculty of Economics of the UV

The EUROMOD Regional Workshop was held on Friday 25 October 2024, with the aim of presenting the project and discussing technical and institutional aspects related to it.

The workshop started with the opening of the workshop. The first presentation was given by Amadeo Fuenmayor (Director of the Chair of Regional Taxation, EvalPub, Universitat de València) entitled Presentation of the Regional Euromod project: Main Elements. This was followed by Dimitry Petrov (University of Alcalá de Henares) with his paper The use of survey data vs. administrative data to measure income and wealth in Spain. The last individual intervention was made by Fidel Picos (Joint Research Centre – European Commission) with the title Technical and institutional aspects of the integration of the household panel in EUROMOD.

To conclude the day, a round table discussion was held, entitled Problems and possibilities in the use of EUROMOD, moderated by Teresa Savall (EvalPub, Universitat de València). Several members of the EvalPub research group who have been active in the EUROMOD Regional project participated in this round table.

This meeting is part of the series of Workshops organised by the Chair of Regional Taxation of the University of Valencia, the EvalPub research group, the Department of Applied Economics of the Faculty of Economics (UV) and the Presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana.
