The main objective of this 1st Workshop on Public Economics is to promote the debate and dissemination of knowledge in those areas related to the field of Economics and Business. Especially in those issues in which the regulatory and institutional framework is relevant for a better understanding of the social phenomena involved. Likewise, the aim is to achieve results that are applicable from a regulatory perspective in order to implement economic policy measures that can benefit society as a whole. The seminar aims to promote and disseminate research and to advance knowledge in the field of Economic Science in the strict sense, but also – in a broad sense – to extend the frontiers of the Social and Legal Sciences, as a consequence of the interdisciplinary nature associated with the centre where the training action takes place. Finally, the aim of this conference is to cover a space within educational innovation within the European Higher Education Area. Access to new lines of knowledge and new teaching methods can help students to learn new ways of acquiring competences.
