EvalPub researchers take part in a congress about tax justice

The Congress, entitled "The reform of tax systems: challenges for the achievement of tax justice" was held on 16 and 17 November at the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia.

Researchers from our group, Rafael Granell and Diego Muñoz, participated in a round table discussion on tax measures to tackle inequality. The round table was completed with the participation of María José Añón, Professor of Philosophy of Law (UV) and the moderation of Alberto García, Professor of Financial and Tax Law (UV).

The presentations made by both were as follows:

  • Rafael Granell: “Negative income taxation: effects on poverty and inequality”
  • Diego Muñoz: “Minimum insertion income in Spain: evolution, results and challenges”
